A vast network of airlines takes off and lands at London airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and City Airport. Heathrow Airport is the UK’s largest and fourth busiest transport from heathrow to Gatwick in the world.

It is Europe’s busiest airport in passenger traffic and the second busiest airport in terms of traffic movements. It is currently owned and controlled by BAA. It has five terminals and operates as a regional base to over 90 airlines, which fly to more than 150 destinations transporting millions of passengers worldwide. It is well connected to the London underground to get into any part of the city.

Gatwick Airport is the UK’s second largest and busiest airport and is owned by Global Infrastructure Partners. Operated by Gatwick Airport Limited, it has two terminals, north and south. It was awarded as the “Best Privatized Airport” in the World in the year 2005.

Stansted Airport is London’s third busiest airport that serves as a budget airline hub. It is currently under the ownership and control of BAA and has one terminal with Check-in concourse for arrivals and departures. Luton Airport is owned by Luton Borough Council and functioned by London Luton Airport Operations Ltd.

It has a single runway and serves European destinations. The layout of the terminal is unusual with ground-side access via a road to a bus station, drop off area and car park on the runway side of the terminal building. London City Airport is London’s smallest airport. It is under the joint ownership of GIP (75%) and Highstar Capital (25%) trading as London City Airport Ltd.

It has one small runway and accommodates smaller planes that need short take offs and landing space. All London airports have a pleasing ambiance with eye catching shopping centers and facilities with some of the world biggest designer brands.

Many tourist attractions and commercial centers are located within the close vicinity of the airports. Hotels with spacious rooms and modern amenities are available for travelers to relax and visit London. Transportation facilities to and from airports and other destinations in London or the UK are fast, safe and convenient.

Now you don’t have to worry about your vehicle before a flight. International-class facilities are available at Britain’s best airports including Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted, Birmingham and Heathrow.

You can either drive in just before your flight and find a parking bay or book in advance. The latter is always the best option because you don’t want to hassle yourself just before your flight. Parking bays are full at most airport parking lots most of the time. You can also save up to 25 per cent on the regular price with an advance booking.

Manchester Parking, Birmingham Parking, Gatwick Parking, Stansted Parking and Heathrow Parking gives you two options based on the time you want to leave your car for. This includes long-stay (up to 90 days) and short-stay (for a few hours) bookings.

Manchester Airport Parking is extremely convenient with the authorities working to make it carbon neutral before 2015. Almost 16,000 bays are available at its eight separate public car parks. These are supplemented by parking bays at 10 privately-owned parking lots.
